Thought for the day
Tuesday 7th April
Hey
It’s sunny and cold as I write though it’s supposed to get blazing warm later.

Last night I watched “Becoming Led Zeppelin”. It’s been on my watchlist for months and I finally got down to it. A fascinating insight into how the band came about and their early years. No other talking heads, no sensationalism. A class film.
I got my guitar out again. Not a real one, a dream one. It got me thinking about what you wanted to be as a kid and I realised that I can’t remember what I wanted to be. And that makes me sad. It certainly wasn’t the bean counter I became but nor was it the cartoonist I am now. It wasn’t an astronaut or a footballer or a rock star. Maybe I wanted to work in the local Co-Op or something like that.
Can you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up?
Feel free to share if you like.
Cheers
Keith

I always wanted to be a lumberjack.
I got a job and immediately chopped down three trees in the woods.
After cutting down the trees, I returned to the office just a few minutes later.
The Boss said, "Where on earth did you learn to cut down trees that fast?"
I told him, "The Sahara Forest."
The Boss replied, "Don't you mean the Sahara Desert?".
I said, "Oh, is that what they call it now?"
I wanted to be a plumber. And then my mum explained they did toilets as well as sinks, baths taps and pipes. Went off the idea. How shallow! 😀
